#NorthsideStory: Loose Tooth
Loose Tooth are a Melbourne three-piece who craft sweet guitar pop with frayed edges and swollen hearts. Life-long friends Etta Curry and Nellie Jackson met in crèche and spent nap time dreaming of creating a heavenly racket. Luc Dawson was drafted in on bass to transform their pop sketches into the sort of songs that stick in your head for days.
When Nellie and Luc visited our Studio + Factory + Store in Brunswick East ahead of their gigs at the Brunswick Music Festival, we took the opportunity to discuss everything from their favourite Brunswick hangouts to their perfect day, and of course all things music. Here’s what they had to say…
What are you most passionate about?
Making fun records.
Why is Melbourne home?
It’s a great part of the world to play music in.
What gigs will you be checking out at this year’s Brunswick Music Festival?
All of them 🙂
What does your perfect day entail?
Cats, hanging out with friends and playing good shows!
What is your favourite saying, song, or motto in which you live by?
That’s all there is, there isn’t anymore – Madeline
As part of the Brunswick Music Festival, Loose Tooth will be playing on Sunday 3rd March (Sydney Road Street Party) and Friday 15th March. To find out more and to purchase your tickets, visit Brunswick Music Festival.
